Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. This dual role requires a passionate individual who can manage food preparation duties and execute menu items according to our established recipes and standards during service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Operate various kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens.
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the culinary management team.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and ensuring all storage areas are organized.
  • Monitor inventory and report necessary supplies
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Supervise the daily service and BoH team in the restaurant
  • Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training the FOH team
  • Plan and fill in the work schedule and approve hours
  • Foster a work climate of cooperation and respect between members of the team
  • Work hours are mainly in the evenings and weekends

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as a prep cook or line cook.
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen.
  • Manual dexterity is able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
