Job description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to help lead our culinary team in close cooperation with our Head Chef for our brand new restaurant at Værnedamsvej! We’re aiming to be the best Middle Eastern bistro in town and need the best people to help us reach this goal. This role demands an experienced chef with a deep understanding of food preparation and kitchen management, capable of executing menu items to the highest standards and driving culinary excellence.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Day-to-Day kitchen operation, ensuring seamless food service and exceptional quality.
  • Helps with Leading, training, and mentoring kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Oversee the work of your team and estimate their workload.
  • Collaborate with Head Chef to provide good and healthy kitchen environment.

Job requirements

    • Proven experience as a Sous Chef.
    • Knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen (HACCP).
    • Manual dexterity is able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
    • A team player with good communication skills.
    • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
